We started principle photography in APRIL 2023 on WAITING FOR SUMMER (Working title only) – around 50% to 70% of the filming was completed by November 2023 before the production took a Winter holiday. We continued principle photography again in April 2024.
We are mainly focusing on the action scenes now – We have a wonderful cast and crew, which a lot of you will be pleasantly surprised with, in terms of what they do on screen.
WAITING FOR SUMMER (Working title only) tells the story of an ex-airforce officer who goes out to a contract meeting for a new job, he is offered a job, but given a test of wits and courage, one that he cannot refuse once accepted. The movie has a lot of elements from some of my favourite filmmakers like Steven Spielberg, John Woo, Francis Coppola, Clint Eastwood, and Jackie Chan. I am aiming for the film to be an exciting roller-coaster drama, full of suspense, action, comedy, and mystery.
We started filming again in April 2024, it is now September 2024 and we have less than half a dozen scenes left. We have some amazing action scenes which I am enjoying filming, and I am looking forward to the premiere of the movie in cinemas and online on streaming platforms.
The action was heavily storyboarded, however do to time constraints, and other ‘things’ we had to change the sequences, we actually came up with something better, and we also came up with a bigger body count in the exciting shootouts.
