So I decided to experiment with LTX studio – I had been seeing so many advertisements for it on YouTube that I thought this looks good – I registered for the free version – Was quite impressed with the way it looked and it seemed easy when it gave me the option to add my own screenplay by copy/paste as well as add my own actor’s faces to the characters it helped design.  Deliverance concept in LTX studio by Suchet Budon

So far so good, however as soon as I saw the storyboards, they were nice but the characters looked nothing like the designs that it had presented to me at the start – They were different.  They did not match the designs I had created.  Either the Ai was bad, or it just didn’t allow you to see it the way you designed it on the free version.

Also the storyboards were not complete, I had put 5 pages of my screenplay in and it had given me a handful of images, however it was still impressive, even with the limitations, I can see this speeding up a filmmaker’s workflow.

While it is early days yet with this software, as a filmmaker, I think it is extremely useful and I will look into it some more.  The software can do a lot of stuff such as work with soundtracks and voice-overs, as well as create motion storyboards.

The image shows Father Jackson Miller in an uncomfortable moment, as he speaks to Josephine about something that has just happened. There is a lack of trust between the two of them.
